Whatever our individual and collective wounds, we all have within us the power to transform them into gifts for our own lives, for others and for life. It is so common for us to be burdened by disapproval of ourselves or others on the basis of perceived faults or mistakes. Self criticism, self doubt and resentments are often borne from experiences of overwhelm, experiences of disempowerment. The wounded healer is a dynamic blend of divine mama and divine papa, a core icon of Movement Medicine and we dance with this archetype to bring real compassion and courage for healing and to discover our gifts. It is often by bringing resource and medicine to the wounds within that we find the next level of gold of the soul. This profound alchemy work can enable you to assume responsibility for and commitment to living your life in alignment with your deepest purpose.
The alchemy of healing of Movement Medicine is about bringing compassionate presence and the courage to be responsible to bring resource for our own wounds, this can be deeply empowering. This is the dance of the wounded healer who can offer the grounded resource and illumination for self acceptance and self determination.
Movement Medicine is a dance practice that will reconnect you to the wisdom of living from your heart, will deepen your connection to true self, your creativity and your integrity as well as enliven your relationship with life on all levels. It has roots in indigenous shamanic wisdom as well as the latest neuroscience and therapeutic perspectives.
