A weekend gathering of men to explore what it is to a man in these times. All men of all ages welcome.
This mens weekend is an opportunity for you to spend time with a group of men of all ages. Its a chance to be yourself and speak freely amongst men and explore what it is to be a man in Ireland in 2017. We will be helped by movement, poetry, sweat-lodge, conversation and ritual to dive deeply and honestly into these themes in the company and support of men and in a place of great natural beauty of Glenmalure valley in the Irish countryside. We will have indoor sessions in a yurt with a wood burning stove, around an open fire and on the land. All men of all ages are welcome. The weekend will be held by Ger Murphy, David Mooney, Mark Kingan and Charlie Stephens.
We will explore these questions in a safe, non judgmental and strong circle of men. The weekend residential gathering will be held and facilitated by Ger Murphy, Director of Institute of Creative Counselling and poet medicine carrier, David Mooney practicing psychotherapist and Movement Medicine teacher throughout Europe, Mark Kingan, Red Path walker, Chi Gung teacher and pipe holder for Vision Quest and Sweat Lodge and Charlie Stevens M.A. (Psych), H.dip (Psych) B.W.Y dip M.I.A.H.I.P with 25 years experience experience. We are men in our 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's with unique and complementary perspectives and experiences to bring to our Nature of Men circle.
We invite you to join us for this unique opportunity and look forward to being in circle with men of all ages, backgrounds, sexual orientations, experience and we know that each one of you will enrich our circle with your presence.
